Emotionally Intelligent Design

This week I come across a very interesting article in Grand Design’s June 2010 edition.

The title was “Emotionally Intelligent Design” and it went like that: Creating happy spaces in our home to enhance our mental well being is just as important as finding the ideal property in the perfect spot. But how can we strike the perfect balance?
Emotionally intelligent design concept was used for the first time by sociologist architect John Zeisel, director of Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture California: “When our minds are happy, we release mood-enhancing endorphins, so we need to design brain-friendly homes.”
